After crossing paths throughout their careers and working together on various projects, two finance professionals found themselves having the same conversation over and over again: many growing businesses needed strategic financial leadership but weren't ready for a full-time CFO.
Recognizing this gap, they combined their experience and shared passion for helping business owners succeed to create a fractional CFO firm focused on delivering practical, high-impact financial guidance.

Partner Experience
Dustin Petersen
Dustin is the managing partner of ExecOne Consulting and concurrently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Harrison Corporation, which is a multilocation, multistate automotive dealership franchise. Dustin provides administrative and departmental oversight for the companies. His areas of expertise include corporate acquisition and mergers, process enhancement, financial forecasting, debt structuring and risk management.
Before coming to Harrison Corporation, Dustin was a tax partner with the international tax, accounting, and consulting firm, RSM US, LLP. During his tenure there, his leadership roles included the National Industry Leader for the Alternative Energy Practice, National Tax Leader for the Consumer Products Industry Practice, Des Moines office’s manufacturing and distribution team leader and a member of the firm’s National Accounting Methods Technical Advisory Group.
Jeremy Kane
Jeremy is a partner at ExecOne Consulting. He is a Licensed Certified Public Accountant with over 17 years of public and private accounting experience. Jeremy’s background includes several years as an auditor in public accounting for RSM US, LLP in the Des Moines Office. Jeremy was also an Internal Auditor for Casey’s General Stores, Inc. and, the Financial Reporting Manager for Berkshire Hathaway Energy, responsible for the preparation of the SEC Filings and Corporate Reports.
Previously to joining ExecOne Consulting, Jeremy served over 6 years as President and Owner of a company in the transportation industry and has proven his talents in financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy.
